MEPs Launch “EU Biotech and Life Sciences Alliance” to advance Europe’s global leadership for innovation

This week, the EU Biotech and Life Sciences Alliance was launched by Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), supported by EuropaBio, with a clearly set ambition to strengthen the EU’s leadership when it comes to a competitive, innovative, and socially responsible biotechnology and life sciences sector in Europe. The Alliance will serve as a forum for structured dialogue with sector experts, academia, civil society, and advocacy groups and for stakeholder engagement and parliamentary collaboration. The ultimate aim is to make Europe the best place in the world to invest in, innovate, produce, and use biotechnology products. Hollandbio welcomes the launch of the Alliance and will bring it to the attention of Dutch MEPs so that they will join this valuable platform.
