Opening Experience Lab

Join the festive opening of the Experience Lab at Health & Innovation District Amsterdam (HID) on March 12. This afternoon marks the start of a new learning environment where education, technology and real-life practice come together.

The Experience Lab shows how future lab professionals learn to work, think and decide in realistic healthcare scenarios. During the opening, you will see the lab in action and meet the people behind this initiative.

The Experience Lab is officially opened by Sofyan Mbarki, alderman of the City of Amsterdam. His opening reflects the shared ambition of education, government and industry to invest in future talent for healthcare and life sciences.

After the opening, we host a panel discussion with students from ROC van Amsterdam. They share how they experience learning in the Experience Lab and what future-oriented education means to them.

The panel is moderated by Daphne Laan, former Head of Technology at Google Netherlands and experienced moderator and keynote speaker. Daphne is known for connecting perspectives, bridging generations and guiding conversations that combine facts with intuition and experience.
