A good short-term opportunity to get to know some of the players and get acquainted with the biotech and pharma sector in Japan’s Kansai region is the ‘European Biotech & Pharma Partnering Conference’, in Osaka on 9 October 2018 organized by the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation. Participation is free; registration before 21 Sept 2018. A visit can easily be combined with Japan’s biggest trade fair, BioJapan, (10-12 October in Tokyo).
