The recently published\u00a0European Commission\u2019s 2026 Work Programme<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is packed with opportunities for\u00a0a strong biotech sector: the European Innovation Act, Advanced Materials Act, European Research Area Act, and new initiatives on AI, critical raw materials, and the circular economy\u00a0\u2013 to name a few.\u00a0Most important\u00a0is\u00a0of course\u00a0the\u00a0EU\u00a0Biotech Act, which the Commission has now\u00a0officially\u00a0split in two.\u00a0Biotech Act I (expected before Christmas) focuses on rapid regulatory simplification in health,\u00a0food\u00a0and feed,\u00a0enabling quick progress for innovation\u00a0in those fields.
