Europe risks falling behind North America and Asia in innovation as regulatory barriers continue to hold back start- and scale-ups \u2013 especially in biotech. To remain competitive, the EU has set the ambition to create the right conditions for innovators to choose Europe and asked to share<\/a> what it would take to get there. In our response to the EU Innovation Act consultation (open until October 3rd), we urge<\/a> the EU to reduce regulatory pressure, align public and private funding with deeptech needs, and foster talent, valorisation, and market access for innovative ideas. For the EU\u2019s 28th regime consultation (open until September 30th), we stress<\/a> that a single harmonized legal framework will only work if it truly simplifies approval processes, while boosting opportunities for European companies to scale within the Single Market. With an integrated, action-oriented approach, we believe Europe can retain its innovative strength and strategic autonomy.
