Vorige week lanceerde de Europese Commissie de Biotech and Biomanufacturing Hub<\/a>, een online omgeving waarmee zij biotech bedrijven \u2013 met name startups en MKB\u2019ers \u2013 wil helpen sneller en beter hun innovaties op de Europese markt te brengen. Naast inzicht in de wetten en regels die op je biotech innovatie van toepassing zijn, licht de Hub ook toe welke ondersteuning van experts en financi\u00eble middelen beschikbaar zijn op Europees niveau en hoe bedrijven daar toegang toe kunnen krijgen. De lancering van de Hub is onderdeel van de Biotech & Biomanufacturing Strategie<\/a> die de Commissie in maart 2024 bekendmaakte. De aanleiding?\u00a0 Het besef dat biotech \u00e9\u00e9n van de snelst groeiende en innovatieve sectoren is in de EU, met een grote potentie om nu en in de toekomst bij te dragen aan uitdagingen op gezondheid, landbouw, voeding en klimaat.
