Uit een recent <a href=\"https:\/\/fd.nl\/financiele-markten\/1541155\/nederlandse-biotech-schittert-in-de-vs-maar-niet-op-amsterdamse-beurs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">overzicht<\/a> van het FD (inlog nodig) wordt de balans opgemaakt van de zeven Nederlandse beursgenoteerde biotech bedrijven. Met een gemiddelde koersstijging van 51% deden zij het voortreffelijk en lieten zij onder andere de biotech-index van de Nasdaq (+5%) en de AEX-index (+12%) achter zich. Al met al positief nieuws, met een boost voor de hele sector. <a href=\"https:\/\/fd.nl\/financiele-markten\/1541210\/nederlandse-biotechbedrijven-floreren-alleen-op-de-nasdaq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tegen de zakenkrant zegt<\/a> hollandbio-directeur Annemiek Verkamman: \u201cHet effect van de hogere beurskoersen sijpelt door in de hele keten. Over de hele breedte is het optimisme toegenomen.\u201d Toch geeft de index te denken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>De VS oogst wat Nederland zaait<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Al deze bedrijven zijn op de Amerikaanse Nasdaq-beurs genoteerd, en niet op een Europese, laat staan Nederlandse beurs. En dat terwijl hun roots hier wel liggen en de Europese markt in potentie groter is dan de Amerikaanse. Nederland zaait, maar oogst niet \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollandbio.nl\/nieuws\/lost-in-translation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">en dat zien we vaker<\/a>. Toch is dat niet gek, aangezien de VS het grote groeigeld kent. Nederlandse ondernemers krijgen het al langer niet voor elkaar om in Europa te blijven, omdat de investeerders en de gunstigere omstandigheden zich aan de andere kant van de oceaan bevinden. Sinds <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollandbio.nl\/nieuws\/mario-draghi-luidt-noodklok-europese-industrie-moet-kunnen-innoveren-om-te-overleven\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">het Draghi-rapport<\/a> is de urgentie en het inzicht er dat daar wat aan gedaan moet worden. Hollandbio ziet mooie bedrijven die, ook in Nederland, kunnen uitgroeien tot de volgende biotech-reus.
