NECSTGEN, het Netherlands Center for the Clinical advancement of Stem Cell and Gene Therapies, zal onderzoekers en bedrijven ondersteunen in het ontwikkelen en produceren van regeneratieve therapie\u00ebn, zoals bijvoorbeeld gekweekte insuline producerende b\u00e8tacellen voor diabetespati\u00ebnten. Kuijpers heeft als hoofdaannemer de opdracht verworven en is verantwoordelijk voor zowel de technische installaties als de bouwkundige realisatie.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NECSTGEN wordt gerealiseerd in het Mirai house op het grootste Life Science en Health cluster van Nederland, het Leiden Bio Science Park waar ook het LUMC deel van uitmaakt. In de vijf verdiepingen tellende rechtervleugel van dit gebouw, wordt de GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)-faciliteit gebouwd van ruim 6.000 m2. Op de derde en vierde verdieping komen NECSTGEN\u2019s klasse GMP-B-cleanrooms, klasse GMP-C-cleanrooms en een QC-laboratoria. LUMC betrekt na de verbouwing de tweede verdieping voor haar laboratoria die ook volledig in het teken van regeneratieve geneeskunde staan. Op de eerste verdieping worden de kantoren voor beide organisaties gebouwd en de bovenste verdieping van het gebouw bevat de (gezamenlijke) technische infrastructuur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kuijpers is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kuijpers.nl\/specialismen\/controlled-environments\">specialist<\/a> in het ontwerpen en realiseren van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kuijpers.nl\/cleanroom\">cleanrooms<\/a>. Het is onze gezamenlijke droom om een betere wereld door te geven aan de volgende generatie. Naast ambities op het gebied van duurzaamheid en circulariteit benaderen we projecten vanuit gezondheid. Gezonde leefomgevingen zijn onderdeel van onze missie en strategie.
