The Commission invites \u201cstakeholders from all sectors and ecosystems of industry [\u2026] to submit their proposals to organise a local event\u201d that \u201cshould take place between January and March 2021\u201d. Successful proposals will be \u201clabelled as &#8216;EU Industry Week events&#8217; and will be promoted on the EU Industry Days website\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The upcoming edition of the EU Industry Days will focus on the \u201caccelerated twin green and digital transition\u201d, and the \u201cchanging global competitive landscape in the post-COVID context\u201d. As stated by the Commission, \u201cit will provide important input for the update of the EU Industrial Strategy announced by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;A call for expressions of interest for the organisation of \u201clocal virtual events as part of EU Industry Week 2021\u201d has opened. Applications must be submitted by 15 November 2020. The Commission will inform applicants of the results of the selection process by 6 December 2020.
