Middels een publieke consultatie vraagt ze om input. Een mooi moment voor HollandBIO en de sector om haar visie voor het voetlicht te brengen. Wij vulden de consultatie reeds in, en moedigen onze leden aan hetzelfde te doen. Je vindt hem <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/law\/better-regulation\/have-your-say\/initiatives\/12421-Pharmaceutical-Strategy-Timely-patient-access-to-affordable-medicines\/public-consultation\">hier<\/a><\/strong>. De deadline voor reacties is 15 september.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HollandBIO ziet volop kansen om nieuwe geneesmiddelen sneller en beter van lab naar de pati\u00ebnt te brengen. Technologie\u00ebn die helpen bij de ontwikkeling van geneesmiddelen, zoals big data en kunstmatige intelligentie, openen nieuwe deuren voor mogelijkheden om pati\u00ebnten te helpen. De Europese strategie moet helpen om goed met deze ontwikkelingen om te gaan, en om komende uitdagingen in de gezondheidszorg het hoofd te bieden, veroorzaakt door onder andere de coronapandemie en een vergrijzende bevolking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De Commissie gebruikt de resultaten uit deze consultatie bij het opstellen van de nieuwe geneesmiddelenstrategie, gepland voor het einde van dit jaar. Wij hebben zelf deze consultatie al ingevuld en om de stem van de biotechsector zo goed mogelijk naar voren te laten komen willen wij onze leden uitnodigen hetzelfde te doen.
