{"id":17384,"date":"2020-06-16T17:37:50","date_gmt":"2020-06-16T15:37:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hollandbio.nl\/?p=17384"},"modified":"2020-06-16T17:37:51","modified_gmt":"2020-06-16T15:37:51","slug":"mit-covid-19-challenge-sequel-in-the-netherlands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hollandbio.nl\/en\/nieuws\/mit-covid-19-challenge-sequel-in-the-netherlands\/","title":{"rendered":"MIT COVID-19 Challenge; sequel in the Netherlands"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Friday the 12<sup>th<\/sup> of June, a couple of international\nteams that joined the MIT COVID-19 Challenge at the beginning of April had the\nopportunity to pitch their solutions against COVID-19 to a group of Dutch\nstakeholders from the Life Sciences &amp; Health community to explore\npossibilities to implement their solution in the Netherlands. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HollandBIO is proud supporter of the\nMIT COVID-19 Challenge and together with Health~Holland, Innovation Attach\u00e9\nNetwork in the US and the team of the MIT COVID-19 Challenge organized this\nfollow-up pitch session. After the pitches, the Dutch stakeholders offered\nsupport for collaboration and implementation possibilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to great interest a lot of Dutch\npartners joined the pitch session including NeLL, Takeda, Invest in Holland,\nNoaber Foundation, Taskforce Health Care, RVO, NL Venture Builders,\nInnovationQuarter, ZonMW and the Dutch Taskforce for Applied Research (SIA).\nEspecially in times when the focus tends to be national, support of\ncross-border collaboration should be supported.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday the 12th of June, a couple of international teams that joined the MIT COVID-19 Challenge at the beginning of April had the opportunity to pitch their solutions against COVID-19 to a group of Dutch stakeholders from the Life Sciences &amp; Health community to explore possibilities to implement their solution in the Netherlands.
