Een feest der herkenning voor de groeiende groep\nsupporters van HollandBIO\u2019s programma Sneller en beter van lab naar pati\u00ebnt. Go\nBruno!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het ontwikkeltraject van geneesmiddelen duurt\nlang, is risicovol en kostbaar. Dat staat onze ambitie om elke pati\u00ebnt van een\neffectieve behandeling te voorzien in de weg. Het moet sneller, en het moet\nbeter. HollandBIO is ervan overtuigd dat we in moeten zetten op oplossingen die\nhet pad van lab naar pati\u00ebnt effenen. Dit zijn de oplossingen waarbij\ngezondheid, betaalbaarheid en innovatie hand in hand gaan. En gelukkig denken\nsteeds meer partijen er net zo over. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zelfs het ministerie van VWS, dat toch lange tijd enkel betaalbaarheid predikte, lijkt tot inkeer te komen. Zo stuurde minister Bruins de contouren van het nationaal platform ter stimulering van therapieontwikkeling, FAST, naar de Kamer, begeleid door een ronkende <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rijksoverheid.nl\/documenten\/kamerstukken\/2020\/02\/20\/kamerbrief-fast-over-instellen-kwartiermaker\"><strong>brief<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In het alomvattende plan zien we een hele\ntrits knelpunten en oplossingen uit HollandBIO\u2019s programma Sneller en beter van\nlab naar pati\u00ebnt terug. Zo heeft FAST aandacht voor regulatoire innovatie om te\nkomen tot naadloze aansluiting tussen registratie, vergoeding en\nbeschikbaarheid van nieuwe therapie\u00ebn, dient het alternatieve financieringsmodellen\nte stimuleren \u00e9n de marsroute van de koplopers op weg naar personalised\nmedicine te effenen, zoals weesgeneesmiddelen, gen- en celtherapie\u00ebn en slimme\nmeetmethoden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Minister Bruins heeft er vertrouwen in dat\nFAST zal bijdragen aan een bloeiend LSH-ecosysteem in Nederland, waarin\ninnovatieve therapie\u00ebn worden ontwikkeld, waarmee economische groei wordt\ngerealiseerd en het onderzoeksklimaat aan de kennisinstellingen gestimuleerd. Hij\nspreekt zelfs van Nederland als gidsland. En dat hij in zijn brief maar liefst\n14 keer het woord betaalbaarheid in de mond neemt, compenseert hij ruimschoots door\n21 keer innovatie.
