Het Utrechtse onderzoeksinstituut en het internationale biotechbedrijf bundelen de krachten om ontwikkeling van HUBs organo\u00efde technologie te versnellen. Het Hubrecht Laboratorium ontdekte een technologie om stamcellen van pati\u00ebnten op te kweken tot mini-orgaantjes. \u201cIn feite hebben we een pati\u00ebnt in een petrischaaltje\u201d, aldus HUB directeur Rob Vries in het FD. De mini-orgaantjes, of organoids, kunnen een revolutie ontketenen in ontwikkeling van geneesmiddelen en in de inzet van geneesmiddelen in de kliniek.
