Het biotechnologie bedrijf scoorde de vierde plek op de lijst van\nBest Workplaces 2019 en ontving daarnaast de speciale award voor het beste\nbedrijf op het thema \u2018Zorgen\u2019. General Manager Marika Murto nam gisteren\ntijdens een feestelijke bijeenkomst in Amsterdam de awards in ontvangst van\nRen\u00e9 Brouwers, directeur van Great Place to Work\u00ae Nederland. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;Vanzelfsprekend\nben ik trots op deze prestatie, vooral omdat het gebaseerd is op de feedback\nvan het Amgen-team zelf.&#8221; &#8220;Tegelijkertijd kwam het niet als een\nverrassing\u201d, vervolgt Marika Murto,&#8221;gezien de positieve sfeer op de\nwerkvloer. Elke dag werken we vol overgave samen om pati\u00ebnten te helpen met de\njuiste behandeling op het juiste moment. Daarnaast is het natuurlijk fantastisch\ndat we de &#8216;Zorgen&#8217; award hebben gewonnen. We vinden een gezonde werk-priv\u00e9\nbalans van cruciaal belang binnen onze organisatie en dat draagt zeker bij aan\nsucces op de werkvloer.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De lijst van werkgevers is\nsamengesteld op basis van empirisch onderzoek van Great Place to Work\u00ae\nNederland. Jaarlijks worden de hoogst scorende organisaties onderscheiden als\nBest Workplaces van Nederland. Directeur Ren\u00e9 Brouwers: <em>&#8220;Een Great\nPlace to Work is een organisatie waar doelen worden behaald, waar mensen het\nbeste uit zichzelf halen en samenwerken in een omgeving van vertrouwen. De\norganisaties die op de lijst van Best Workplaces staan vervullen een\nvoorbeeldfunctie ten aanzien van andere organisaties.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>De &#8216;Zorgen&#8217; award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het thema \u2018Zorgen\u2019 gaat over de wijze waarop een onderneming goede ondersteuning geeft in het vinden van de balans tussen werk en priv\u00e9 en de aandacht die er is voor vitaliteit. Amgen ziet het als haar taak om optimale zorg voor pati\u00ebnten te bieden en als werkgever wil Amgen dat ook voor haar eigen medewerkers, want velen van ons zijn ook moeder, vader en mantelzorger. Amgen heeft daarom een programma voor flexibel werken, vergadervrije vrijdagmiddagen en is erkend als een mantelzorgvriendelijk bedrijf. Amgen wil de &#8216;best place for talent&#8217; zijn.
