The milestone payment is linked\nto&nbsp; Sanofi\u2019s dosing of the first human\nvolunteers in a Phase I clinical trial of SAR441169, a novel inverse agonist of\nthe nuclear hormone receptor ROR\u03b3t, for the treatment of the autoimmune skin disease psoriasis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are\nexcited to have reached this important milestone in our collaboration with\nSanofi. This is Lead Pharma\u2019s first compound to enter the clinic, representing\na significant next step in the realization of our growth ambitions\u201d, said Frans\nvan den Berg, Chief Executive Officer of Lead Pharma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe\nprogression into clinical development with this project is great validation of\nour strength in innovative drug discovery, which is also being applied to our\ninternal pipeline projects\u201d, added Arthur Oubrie, Chief Scientific Officer of\nLead Pharma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Steve\nPascoe, MD, Head of Immuno-Inflammation Development at Sanofi Genzyme,\ncommented: \u201cWith the initiation of clinical investigations in humans, this\npromising ROR\u03b3t inverse\nagonist moves one step closer to advancing psoriasis treatment.
