The loans total \u20ac150.000 and will be used to bring new\u00a0\u201cLab Automation\u201d products to markets serving Dutch and Flemish research institutes and\u00a0universities this fiscal year. Nestegg Biotech BV was assisted in applying for the loans by the\u00a0Manager of Public Funding at the Brightlands Innovation Factory, Hugo Nikkel. Brightlands\u00a0continues to support the development of Nestegg Biotech\u2019s goal of bringing \u201cenhanced\u00a0automation\u201d to laboratories performing cutting-edge research across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The Rabobank Achtergestelde Innovatie Lening or \u201cAIL\u201d program is provided to help\u00a0with the financing of innovations. It is intended for funding early stage developments in within\u00a0themes including smart technology for renewables, vitality, and sustainable solutions within the\u00a0healthcare sector such as medical tech or biopharmaceuticals. More information about the\u00a0program can be\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rabobank.nl\/bedrijven\/zakelijk-financieren\/alle-financieringsvormen\/achtergesteldeinnovatie-lening\/\">found here<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Obruza is a novel automated system provided by Nestegg Biotech to allow researchers to automate experiments in the fields of regenerative medicine, cell culture, drug development, and\u00a0diagnostics. Nestegg Biotech has facilities on the Brightlands Maastrich Health Campus, in the\u00a0southern Dutch province of Limburg. Nestegg Biotech expects to achieve validation of the\u00a0Obruza system this fall in tandem with their initial partner the MERLN Institute for Regenerative\u00a0Medicine in Maastricht.
