Connecting Dutch biotech with global innovation at BIO-Europe 2025 in Vienna  

Last week, BIO-Europe, Europe’s premier partnering conference, took place in Vienna. Among 6000 attendees, 200 Dutch delegates showcased the innovative strength of the Dutch life sciences ecosystem. During this conference, Hollandbio hosted the Dutch pavilion together with Health~Holland and Invest in Holland, serving as both the signpost for Dutch biotech and the living room for Dutch delegates.

Hollandbio hosted the Dutch pavilion together with Health~Holland and Invest in Holland as the go-to place for international visitors interested in learning more about the Dutch life sciences sector or planning to establish a presence there. It also served as a convenient stop for Dutch participants between their partnering meetings.

This edition of BIO-Europe featured a packed program: hosting the Dutch networking reception, where we traditionally raffled a Dutch bike. This year’s winner is Axel Lohse from Germany Trade & Invest. Hollanbio’s Robbert co-organized an invitation-only session initiated by Ipsen for a group of Dutch biotech companies, and hollandbio’s Wieteke participated as a panelist in the session “Grounding the resilience of global biotech supply chains.”
