Closing immunisation gaps: A comprehensive EU framework for respiratory infection prevention

The Steering Group on Prevention of Respiratory Infections is delighted to invite you to its annual event, on 15 October, in Brussels and online, from 14:30 CET..
This year, the Steering Group (supported by the Vaccines Europe Respi Task Force) will launch its new manifesto, calling for a new Council Recommendation on the value of immunisation against respiratory infections. Discussions will address the growing burden of influenza, COVID-19, RSV and pneumococcal disease across Europe and their impact on healthcare systems.
The event will be moderated by Nicola Bedlington and feature an outstanding line-up of speakers, including:

A personal patient testimony will shed light on the real-life impact of RSV. Speakers will also highlight the need for harmonised EU immunisation targets and integrated surveillance systems, drawing lessons from Ireland’s public health and immunisation policy.
